Notes

Marina Road Bay likely represents the best choice for a public swim site along the entire Cantley shoreline with supporting facilities such as an aquatic centre for launching kayaks and canoes, a play area for beach volleyball etc, nature trails, picnics and a large parking area

The swim site would be dock oriented because of the shallow leda clay shoreline,(refer to photo). Parking on a permeable surface lined with trees for shading would fit into the large flat area at top of hill off of Chemin Cascade, A picturesque and interesting winding nature oriented pathway interacting with the stream and forest on its way to the shoreline. A sandy play area on the shoreline well back from the water, a picnic area, access to nature and bike trails, change rooms and toilets.
